Cochin-Guruvayoor-Munnar-periyar- Cochin

DAY 1

Begin your Tour at Kerala

Arrive into Cochin

Our friendly Representative will be waiting for you at the Airport.

We welcome you to Cochin – the tropical paradise of India.

Check into your hotel & relax!.

In the afternoon proceed on a guided tour in and around Cochin.

See the historic Dutch Palace – a tribute to the relationship between the two cultures during the previous centuries.

We will also see the only Jewish Synagogue in India at Mattancherry; only one direct descendant of the family that set up this shrine is now alive.

Later go for a shopping at the Busy streets of Cochin .

Overnight stay at the Hotel.

DAY 2

On to Guruvayoor

via Athirampally waterfalls

In the early morning depart from Cochin.Visit the famous Athirammpally waterfalls enroute

Reach Guruvayoor by late afternoon-Check into the Hotel & Relax

Later have Temple Darsan(Guruvayyor Sree krishnaswami Temple)

DAY 3

Onto Munnar

At the Mid of Tea Gardens

Early morning check out from Guruvayoor-Visit Punnathur kotta ,whetre 45 Temple Elephants of Guruvayoor are sheltered.

Proceed for a long but scenic drive to Munnar – Kerala’s tea garden hill station.

You will reach Munnar by afternoon.

Check into your resort.

Rest of the day for Shopping & Tea garden visit.

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your resort.

DAY 4

At the Cool Heaven

Enjoy Munnar’s Splendours

After breakfast, we proceed on a daylong sightseeing tour of Munnar.

Visit the Eravikulam National Park – home to the endangered mountain goat species, the Nilgiri Tahr. Take snaps of the frolicsome and rather friendly goats. Admire the valley in front of you.

Later visit Kundala Dam site,Mattupetty dam & Echo point.

Back to the Hotel by evening.

DAY 5

Onto Periyar (100 Kms-3.30 Hrs)

Enjoy Pleasure Boating

After breakfast, we drive to Periyar, hometown of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

On your way to Periyar, travel through spectacularly beautiful scenic splendours. The Munnar-Thekkady route is considered among the best tourist circuits in India.

On arrival at Thekkady, check into the Periyar Jungle Resort. There is time for relaxation.

Later we take you to enjoy a rather unusual way of exploring a wild reserve – aboard a boat.

The picturesque Periyar Lake is a beautiful setting. Your boat ride affords views of elephant herds and bison. If you are lucky enough you can spot more exotic animals. Don’t forget to take your binoculars!

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your resort.

DAY 6

At Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary

Enjoy Day Tours

Today we go on trekking trails that take us closer to the majestic Nature in this area – an exciting experience.

By afternoon you can enjoy a mini Elephant ride near the sanctury.

DAY 7

Onto Cochin(60 Kms-1.30 Hrs)

After breakfast, we check out of your  Resort to begin our journey back to Cochin. Arrive at Cochin and directy proceed to the Airport/Railway station  to catch the Flight.
