DAY 1

Begin your Tour at Kerala

Arrive into Cochin

Our friendly Representative will be waiting for you at the Airport.

We welcome you to Cochin – the tropical paradise of India.

Check into your hotel.

Afternoon proceed on a guided boat tour in and around Cochin. This is possible because our sights are all accessible by water.

See the historic Dutch Palace – a tribute to the relationship between the two cultures during the previous centuries.

We will also see the only Jewish Synagogue in India at Mattancherry; only one direct descendant of the family that set up this shrine is now alive.

In the evening, we take you to witness one of the most colourful and exquisite performing arts in the world – Kathakali. After two hours of glorious entertainment, remember to get photographed with the Kathakali performer.

Day 2

On to Alleppey (65 Kms-1.30 Hrs)

Enjoy a Backwater stay at Alleppey

After Breakfast Proceed to Alleppey.On arrival, checkin to the beautiful Backwater resort at Alleppey,where you can taste the tranquility of Kuttanadan Paddy fields & Languid Vembanad Backwaters.

We can relax the full day in the backwater resort.

Day 3

Enjoy Night in the Backwaters.

Now are are offering a unique Backwater experience for you.Usually the House boat cruises are limited to alleppey-Kumarakom sector only.But inorder to explore the full beauty of Kerala you have to travel all the way from Alleppey to Alumkadavu near kollam.

For that check out from the resort and check into the traditional houseboat for a day and night cruise toAlumkadavu near  Kollam.

We continue our journey to Alumkadavu as evening make way to night. Somewhere along your houseboat drops anchor for an unforgettable night in the backwaters. Enjoy to the brink this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

As you know, you will remember your overnight stay aboard for the rest of your life.

Day 4

At Kollam

Enjoy Backwater Resort

You can check out from the House Boat after breakfast at Alumkadavu  & then proceed to your Backwater resort in Kollam (30 minutes drive to Kollam town)– the land of cashew and home to Ashtamudi backwaters.

Check into your backwater resort.

Afternoon proceed to visit Houseboat Manufacturing Centre or we can visit Amrithapuri(optional).

Enjoy overnight in the traqil resort .

Day 5

Onto Varkala (37 Kms-1.30 Hrs)

Enjoy Varkala Beach Resort

After breakfast proceed to Varkala – the popular eco-friendly beach resort.

Arrive at Varkala and check into your resort.

The rest of the day is free for you to survey the sprawling beach and the horizons beyond. If you are in an adventurous mood, climb the cliffs in the beach’s background and attempt hang-gliding.

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your resort.

DAY 6

Onto Poovar Islands(95 Kms-2.30 Hrs)

By forenoon, it is time to check out of your resort and we drive on to Poovar Islands – the first backwater island resort in India.

Arrive at Poovar Islands and  Check into your resort.

For the rest of the day, you are free to marvel at the exotic ambience of the blue backwaters.

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 7

Enjoy Poovar Islands

Enjoy the Sound of Silance

After breakfast, set out of your resort to have a deeper impression of Poovar.

After breakfast you can enjoy viollage walk,where we can see day to day life of village people.

In the afternoon you can have an ayurvedic massage treatment in the resort(optional).

 Otherwise you can experience the magnificence of the scenery all around. A serene lagoon and the cool backwaters afford you a tryst with Mother Nature. Ensure that you have enough rolls of film with you.

DAY 8

It is the Time to Say Good Bye

Return Home Reluctantly

After breakfast, we take you back to Trivandrum. We drive you to the airport.

It is time to end your Sunglided Coastal Tour. But all goods things have an end too.

However, you can always come back. We will be pleased to welcome you again.

-The Vehicle will be with the guests through out the Tour. They can make it use round the Clock if needed.

- Well experienced English speaking Driver cum Guide will be appointed for the Tour. who can also act as an Escort.

-One Driver, One Vehicle for the entire Tour .If there is no Land journey break in the Tour, the same Driver & Vehicle will be with the guests for the entire journey.

Food

In all Hotels & Resorts Food will be on Bed & Breakfast Basis ( CP) unless specified .But as  Houseboat is included in the Tour,three times Meals will be served onboard as there is no chance to get Food from elsewhere.

The Guests have to specify the Type of Food they need before they check into the Houseboat.
