Cochin-Munnar-Periyar-Kumarakom--House boat -Cochin

DAY 1

Arrive into Cochin

Onto Munnar(100 Kms-3.30 Hrs)

At the Mid of Tea Gardens

Our friendly Representative will be waiting for you at the Airport.

We welcome you to Cochin – the tropical paradise of India.

Direct drive to Munnar – Kerala’s tea garden hill station.

The Travelling time is 3.30 Hrs.

You will reach Munnar by noon.

Check into your resort.

Rest of the day for Shopping & Tea garden visit.

Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at your resort.

DAY 2

At the Cool Heaven

Enjoy Munnar’s Splendours

After breakfast, we proceed on a daylong sightseeing tour of Munnar.

Visit the Eravikulam National Park – home to the endangered mountain goat species, the Nilgiri Tahr. Take snaps of the frolicsome and rather friendly goats. Admire the valley in front of you.

Next to Mattancherry &Top-station, the highest point in Munnar and the place where you find an abundance of Nilakurinji plants, which flowers only once in twelve years.

Day 3

Onto Periyar (100Kms-4.00 Hrs)

Enjoy Pleasure Boating,Elephant Safari

After breakfast, we drive to Periyar, hometown of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.

Travelling time is 4.30 Hrs.

.On arrival at Thekkady, check into the Periyar Jungle Resort. There is time for relaxation.

Later we take you to enjoy a rather unusual way of exploring a wild reserve – aboard a boat.

The picturesque Periyar Lake is a beautiful setting. Your boat ride affords views of elephant herds and bison. If you are lucky enough you can spot more exotic animals. Don’t forget to take your binoculars!

Later enjoy an Elephant safari at periyar.

DAY 4

Onto Kumarakom  (140 Kms-4.00 Hrs)

Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary

After breakfast, we proceed to Kumarakom – the spectacular and inviting backwater destination.

Arrive at Kumarakom by noon. Check into the Kumarakom Backwater Resort. The rest of the day is your canvas to draw the amazing backwater experiences possible here.

We now take you to view the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary located in an island in the backwaters. Watch exotic birds, the migratory Siberian Stork among them, lead their normal lives unaware of you or your binoculars.

DAY 5

Onto Kumarakom  (130 Kms-4.00Hrs)

Check into House boat

Enjoy Night in the backwaters

After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom for a memorable day & night houseboat cruise, which will eventually take us to Alleppey

Reach Kumarakom by noon & directly check into the Houseboat.

See some of the most spectacular backwater scenery in the world. Enjoy the excellent amenities of your boat.

Feel enchanted by the waterways and the charming views.

We continue our journey to Alleppey .In the night, the boat drops anchor in the backwaters, signalling the beginning of a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you. Enjoy the fabulous sensations of mysterious night sounds.

Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay on board.

DAY 6

 Reach Alleppey

Onto Cochin(60 Kms-1.30 Hrs)

Reach Alleppey by morning.After breakfast, we check out of yourHouse boat  to begin our journey back to Cochin. Arrive at Cochin and enjoy a sightseeing tour covering Fort cochin & Mattancherry(Jewish synagouge,Dutch palace,Chinese fishing nets etc)

Later in the afternoon we will drop you at the Airport to catch the Return flight by evening.

Transport (Up to 04 Pax)

-The Vehicle will be with the guests through out the Tour. They can make it use round the Clock if needed.

- Well experienced English speaking Driver will be appointed for the Tour. who can also act as an Escort.

- If there is no Land journey break in the Tour, One Driver, One Vehicle will be allotted  for the entire Tour . The same Driver & Vehicle will be along with the guests for the entire journey.

 Food

In all Hotels & Resorts Food will be on Bed & Breakfast Basis ( CP) unless specified . But as  Houseboat is included in the Tour,three times Meals will be served onboard as there is no chance to get Food from elsewhere.

The Guests have to specify the Type of Food they need before they check into the Houseboat.
