DAY 1
Arrive At Chennai
Enjoy City Tour
Our Representative will be waiting for you at the Airport
With a traditional 'Namasthe'- he will take you to the hotel at the city of Chennai.
After taking rest get ready for a city tour in & around Madras - Visit Kabaleswar Temple, Santhome Cathedral, Marina Beach, Fort Museum, National Art gallery, St. Thomas mount, Little mount shrine, Valluvarkottam, sittrarengam etc. - back to the hotel by evening - enjoy the night stay.

Day 2:

 Chennai – Kanchipuram - Mahablipuram(86 KMs-2.30 Hrs)
Morning drive to Mahabalipuram. Enroute sightseeing of Kanchipuram.

Visit kalilsanatha temple,Ekambaranatha temple etc at Kancheepuram

Reach Mahabalipuram by afternoon.

Check into the Hotel & relax

Day 3

Day Excursion to Mahabalipuram

Enjoy a full day historical Tour at Mahabalipuram.At Mahabalipuram visit ,Arjuna's penance,Rathas,Shore temples,Krishnamandapam etc

Rest of the day at leisure along the beach side.By evening you can be back to Chennai to catch the early morning Train to Bangalore.(2 Hrs Journey)

Day 4
Depart to Bangalore
Shopping & city Tour
In the morning, proceed to Bangalore by Shathabdi Express train from Chennai ,
You will reach Bangalore by fore noon
We welcome you to the garden city of Bangalore and take you to the hotel.
Check into your hotel.
Then Proceed  for places which are more interesting in Bangalore.
Visit Cubbon Park and Museum, Government Museum, Tippu's Palace, The Fort, Bull temples, Vankappa Art Gallery.
Back to the hotel by evening.

DAY 5
On to Mysore,(140 Kms-3.30 Hrs)
Visit Sreerangapattanam
In the morning proceed to Mysore - the princely city of South India..

Later, it is time to make an enroute break at the  historic hamlet of Sree Rangapattanam. Visit Tippu Sultan's summer palace. Stroll around the different monuments contemplating the daily life here many centuries ago.
Proceed to Mysore ,Check into the Hotel & Overnight stay.

DAY 6
At Mysore
Full Day Excursion
After breakfast, we proceed on a city tour of Mysore. Enjoy the royal streets with broad tree-lined avenues. View of Mysore Palace in the night when it is illuminated is unforgettable.
Visit Chama Rajendra Art Gallery to marvel at some famous paintings.
Next take the road to Chamundi Hills, 1062 metres above MSL. Have a panoramic view of Mysore city below.
Get down to the city to visit the zoo. Take snaps.
Get back to the city - now resplendent in glorious illumination.
Back to your hotel. Relax and enjoy overnight stay.

DAY 7
On To Ooty(160 Kms-4 Hrs)
Via Bandipur Forests
After an early breakfast, we leave the City of Palaces for cool Ootty - 'the Queen of Hill Stations'.
Part of your journey to Ootty is through the Bandipur Forests.
Arrive at Ootty by evening and check into your hotel.
Enjoy your dinner.
The fresh mountain air soon lulls you to sleep.
Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 8
In and around Ooty
Full day Tour
After breakfast, we drive you in and around Ootty on a sight seeing tour. Take snaps of the picture postcard views. Visit the botanical gardens, Rose Garden, Avmamore Palace, Govt. Museum and enjoy a boating through the enchanting 'Lake'. Inhale deeply to get the best of Eucalyptus-scented air.
By the time you get back to your hotel in the evening, you would have shed an year or two.

DAY 9
On to Cochin (295 Kms-7 Hrs)
Experience Kathakali Show
In the morning proceed to Cochin, the Queen of Arabian Sea.
 You can reach Cochin by late afternoon only.Check into the hotel & relax.
Rest of the day for shopping or at leisure.
By evening go for a Kathakali show in an amphi theatre with Mudras and Make up Demonstration.The programme comes to an end by 8 P.M
Back to the hotel.

DAY 10
In & Around Cochin
City Tour & craft Cruise
Breakfast, and get ready for full day trip in and around Cochin. First, you board a luxury boat that takes you to Fort Cochin and Mattancherry where you can trace the past of Cochin.
Visit the Jewish Synagogue at Mattancherry, considered to be the oldest in India. At Fort Cochin see the historic St. Francis Church built in 1510 by Portuguese priests.
Back to the mainland by noon. After lunch get ready for your final, and perhaps the most unforgettable, experience at Cochin. Set out on a country craft canal cruise. Amaze at life's pace (or lack of it) in rural Kerala. Get a closer look at coir processing, duck farming and the tapping of toddy (country liquor from coconut palms). Drink tender coconut water - perhaps the world's healthiest and sweetest natural drink. Or, get tipsy with a bottle of toddy.
After four hours of enchantment, it is time to get back to your hotel.
Enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 11
On To Periyar (190 Kms-4.30 hrs)
Boat ride at Periyar
After an early breakfast, we drive you to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary.
Arrive at the Sanctuary by noon and check into your hotel.
Enjoy your lunch.
A little later, we take you on a memorable boat ride through Lake Periyar in the heart of the sanctuary. Come across elephants and bison grazing on the banks.
You can also opt for an elephant safari through the forest, if you are interested.
Enjoy your dinner at the hotel. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 12
In & around Periyar
Spice Tour & Jungle Safari
A pleasure tour day at Thekkady
Enjoy a spice Tour near Thekkady to familiarise with the great spices of Kerala.
In the afternoon enjoy a jungle safari with an expert guide in the forest ranges of Periyar
Back to the resort by evening

DAY 13
Proceed to Kumarakom(125 Kms-3.30 Hrs)
Check into the Houseboat
In the morning proceed to Kumarakom for starting a memorable Houseboat cruise. Your houseboat is a typically huge traditional boat made of Anjili wood. It has two attached bedrooms, sitting room, kitchen, toilet, and balcony.
On board, enjoy the scenery and serenity around.
Glide through dreamy landscapes till nightfall. Then, the boat casts anchor right in the middle of the romantic waterway. Wow! It is cool blue waters, a blue sky and a starry night.
It goes without saying that you overnight on the boat.

DAY-14
Check out from the Houseboat
Proceed to Kovalam
Awake early to experience a magical backwater morning. Shortly you'll resume your journey .Check out from the House boat and proceed to Kovalam beach.
Reach Kovalam by afternoon.
The rest of the day is yours to chart an unforgettable beach holiday. Feel secure because Kovalam, because of its natural location, is considered one of the safest beaches in the world.
Enjoy overnight stay at your resort.

Day 15
A Full Day Excurion
Onto Kanyakumari (80 Kms-3.30 Hrs)
After breakfast, we drive to Kanyakumari – the confluence of three oceans and the land's end of India.
Arrive at Kanyakumari by afternoon. Later, we take you to the ferry for the short crossing to the giant rock formation on which stands the Vivekananda Memorial. It is 200 metres above the shoreline. See the spot where Vivekananda – the great Indian philosopher – sat in deep meditation in the late nineteenth century.
In the evening, we take you to the seashore to witness an ethereally beautiful sunset.
Back to Kovalam by night &Enjoy overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 16
Onto Trivandrum
Return home with wonderful memories
After breakfast, we drive to Trivandrum. It is time to say goodbye to a once-in-a-lifetime holiday.
We take you to the airport in time to catch your flight. Hope you would come again for another Languid Lagoona experience!

In all Hotels & Resorts Food will be on Bed & Breakfast Basis ( CP) unless specified .But if Houseboat is included in the Tour,three times Meals will be served onboard as there is no chance to get Food from elsewhere.
